7/4/2023 0 Comments Quickdraw 300 dAlthough the product offers three styles of vaping in one package, I don’t find it to really stand out feature wise from some of the more established vape pens on the market today, nor does it produce as much vapor as a traditional dry herb vape.Powerful suction designed to fit in your ”first in kit” Overall, I wasn’t a huge fan of the 300-DLX. When fully charged the unit will definitely last all day for infrequent vapers, but power users will definitely find the battery capacity to be lacking. The battery life on the 300-DLX varies greatly depending on a number of factors including the type of cart used, the frequency of puffs taken, and what temperature setting you choose. Simply let the magnets in the charger attach to those on the tip of the DLX, and the unit will automatically begin to charge (this process can take up to two hours starting from empty). The 300-DLX uses a magnetic charging system, and this system is one of my favorite aspects of the vape. Combined with the style of atomizer used, I imagine that QuickDraw intended for these to be relatively disposable. I found that these cartridges were harder to clean than the others (you can’t open up one side of them). Using this method, you should be able to get a few smooth tasting hits per bowl before needing to reload. Place a small dab of wax or oil onto the cartridge, and then seal everything back up. To load it you can unscrew the bottom to expose the atomizer coil (which resembles an electric stove heating element). The oil cartridge has similar functionality to the e-liquid one (just press the button to activate). I found that the e-liquid cart worked quite well and produced a lot of flavor (especially while new), but it does have the tradeoff of being a bit of a juice hog due to the dual silica wicks. With the e-liquid cartridge inserted the functionality is almost identical to a standard e-cig, simply hold down the button and take a slow and steady draw until you’re satisfied. Keep in mind however, that despite being able to vaporize herbs effectively, you won’t see the same vapor production that you would get from using a dedicated portable dry herb vaporizer (such as the Arizer Air). The vapor was tasty, and I was able to get about 8-10 solid puffs from a bowl (make sure to turn it from time to time). Once I turned the unit on, the smart system recognized the cartridge and turned on continuous heat mode (which maintains a pre-set temperature so your herb doesn’t burn) and gave the unit about two minutes to warm up (this process can take a little longer in cold weather) and then began to take some long, slow puffs. The bowl is a little on the small side, but I would say that its average capacity in terms of loose leaf vape pens. Unlike many vape pens which simply burn your loose leaf, the 300DLX- which is designed as a conduction oven with a layer shielding your material from directly touching the heating element (this is the main reason why most vape pens burn loose leaf). The first part I tried on the unit was the loose leaf chamber. Furthermore, thanks to the 300-DLX’s magnetic smart system, swapping out different cartridges is a breeze, and the unit automatically detects which cart is inserted and adjusts the vaporization temperature accordingly. The unit feels nice to hold and has laser etching near the center in order to improve grip. Resembling an e-cigarette, the unit is very discreet and would not look out of place on a desk. My 300-DLX arrived in elegant, minimalist packaging and included the following items needed to get started vaping:Īfter getting the QuickDraw unboxed, I held the unit in my hand and gave it a quick inspection. Just recently released, the 300-DLX boasts a special magnetic cartridge system which allows it to vaporize concentrates, dry herbs, and e-liquids with minimal hassle (this system has been licensed from VMR Products, which produces the V2 Series Pro 3). Recently, I managed to acquire a QuickDraw 300-DLX vape pen (manufactured by QuickDraw Products) in order to review.
